Wanting what you have

Luxury. It’s a loaded word. It conjures up thoughts of elitism, snobbery, and the unattainable. Let’s turn that idea on it’s head. I have heard it said that happiness isn’t having what you want, it’s wanting what you have. Perhaps sitting in the most beautiful room in your house with a cup of coffee and your thoughts is luxury. Why not? Sure, luxury can be glamorous cars and vacations, but when we elevate everyday experiences and breathe in gratitude, that is luxury. Brunch with your husband on a Saturday morning is luxury when there is a culture of love and friendship between you. A beautiful outfit that makes you feel pulled together and attractive is luxury. I want to challenge you to curate a life of luxury by being selective with your energy and really loving the people, things, and experiences you already have and being intentional about attracting more of these things into your life. By elevating them and slowing down just long enough to really feel the luxury of the feelings these moments give you.

Let’s go on a journey together. You see, luxury is a mindset. When you honor yourself enough to surround yourself with things that make you feel peaceful and calm, you are living a life of luxury. I can not wait to be in lux with you.
